?rep=yourname. Contact DevTek.Contractor will provide first-ring call answering, lead intake, and crew-dispatch text summaries for the Company's water/fire restoration operations, as assigned. Contractor controls the means and method of performing the work.
Contractor is an independent contractor, not an employee, partner, or agent of the Company. The Company will not withhold federal or state income tax, Social Security, or Medicare. Contractor is responsible for all applicable taxes. If Contractor is paid $600 or more in a calendar year, the Company will furnish a Form 1099-NEC.
Contractor earns a commission on deals for which Contractor contributed a qualified lead (the "Default Commission"):
The specific rate and schedule for Contractor may be set by a separate individual written agreement between the parties. Where no separate written agreement is made, the Default Commission above applies. Contractor bears all own expenses unless pre-approved in writing.
This Agreement continues until ended by either party with written notice. Sections 2, 5, and 6 survive termination.
Contractor will not disclose non-public homeowner, claim, or Company information obtained while performing services.
Contractor is not eligible for Company benefits, insurance, or workers' compensation as a contractor.
This Agreement is governed by the laws of the State of Michigan.
